Vilundahallen, Sweden (March 11, 2015) – The Swedish National finals start today for Women (AIK vs LHC). We are happy to share that there are quite a few Sweden Selects connections to these teams!

Peter Franz of LEGACY Global Sports coaches favored LHC, while Stefan Af Bjur, former coach and girls' director for Sweden Selects, is the coach of AIK. Members of the Linköpings Hockey Club (LHC), based in Stångebro Ishal will be seen in blue out on the ice today. Allmänna Idrottsklubben Ishockeyförening (AIK) will be recognizable by their team colors, black and yellow. AIK is the ice hockey section of Allmänna Idrottsklubben sports club located in Stockholm, Sweden.

And finally, last year's Team Minnesota coach, Kim Martin Hasson, will be in the net for LHC. She is joined on LHC by Pernilla Winberg and Jennifer Wakefield, who will both be coaching with Sweden Selects this spring...we should also see these ladies representing their countries (Sweden and Canada) in the upcoming World Championships!
