The World Selects Hockey brand has dominated the elite youth hockey landscape in the spring/summer seasons for many years and has now grown to over 15 countries representing the World Selects Hockey Logo (Canada, US, Sweden, Finland, Norway, Denmark, Latvia, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Switzerland, Germany, Italy, Russia, Ukraine, and Iceland).
The Eastern US Selects plans to recruit, select, and work with the top 12-16 year olds in the Eastern United States to and build spring/summer teams that can represent the region at the World Selects Invitational as well as other marquee events globally.

2023 Eastern US Selects Tryouts (2009 & 2010's)
After a long pause, in part created by the global Covid pandemic, World Selects is extremely excited to begin its preparations for the 2023 Spring/Summer season.
Due to the ever changing landscape of the youth hockey environment and the desire to not conflict with winter hockey teams and schedules, we will be hosting our tryouts for the Eastern US Selects teams on August 13th, 2022.
- Tryouts will be limited to 68 players per age group,
- The cost to participate will be $75 and will include 3 scrimmage/games (and a goalie session), personalized tryout jersey, in locker room refreshments, and lunch for the players.
- The tryout evaluators will have ZERO affiliation to the players on the ice and will make their selections based on the players performance on that given day (no prior performance, statistics, or other will be considered).
- The selected players will be invited to participate in all the 2023 Eastern US Selects events including: World Selects Invite, 2 Additional North American Tournaments (TBD), & World Selects Combine.
- Players must follow the 2 steps below to create an account at World Hockey Group and apply for the tryout. Players will be notified if they are accepted to the tryout.
